GETTING STARTED WITH MOBILE LINK
Mobile Link* is a free application that you can download on your favorite smart device that allows you to monitor the status of your home standby generator. Each Generac Guardian series air-cooled home standby unit comes with onboard wireless, which can connect to your home’s Wi-Fi router. Once connected, you can monitor the status of your generator directly from your device, 24/7, no matter where you are!
*Mobile Link is compatible with most air-cooled and liquid-cooled Generac, Eaton, Siemens and Honeywell brand Home Standby Generators manufactured after 2008.
Step 1: Connect Your Generator to Wi-Fi
To get started with Mobile Link you must first connect your generator to your home’s Wi-Fi network. Connecting your generator is easy! Just follow the instructions on the Mobile Link app. Watch this short video to learn how.
Step 2: Get Started with Mobile Link
After connecting the generator to your home’s Wi-Fi, you are ready to add the generator to your Mobile Link app. For additional help watch this short video for step-by-step assistance.
When this step is completed, you are now able to monitor your generator from anywhere!
